The Village P.r.o.j.e.c.t.s Salutes Mr. Charles Wade
Long Beach, California -- Oct 13, 2007 -- During a recent meeting with graduate students in the Long Beach Area, it was noted that "Mr. Charles Wade is one of the most helpful people in the Long Beach community." This comes as no surprise as Mr. Wade has grown up in Long Beach and is very familiar with the people, particularly in Central Long Beach. He is an active participant in the Youth and Gang Prevention Programs of Long Beach and is often seen as a "Pied Piper" respected by the young people he serves. He has not forgotten the struggles of the young and often provides wise counsel from his own experiences. The Village P.r.o.j.e.c.t.s salutes Mr. Wade as one who makes a difference! ...and there are many others.
“Our solutions are bigger than any one profession or job. We must reclaim our interconnections and learn to freely share information with each other, and to support the success of a new generation. We must create connections and collaborations. Our goal must be to move this system in the direction of caring what happens to persons who need it the most, and we must take our place in that effort. We will find a way to make a difference!"
