Appointed as President, Lassen Community College
Long Beach, California -- May 28, 2012 --
The Village P.r.o.j.e.c.t.s congratulates Dr. Marlon Hall on his recent selection as the President, Lassen Community College. Immediately prior to this appointment, Dr. Hall was the Vice-president Student Affairs at West Hills College in Coalinga, California. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Hall is also an alumni of West Hills College. He later earned a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Change. Through it all his heart remained with the community college system that launched his path into higher education. He speaks passionately about the California Community College system and the gateway to opportunity that it offers to those who enter its doors. He is a respected athlete, scholar, administrator, teacher, community leader, and a role model with a compelling personal life story.
