Elected as Supreme Basileus, Chi Eta Phi Sorority Inc
Jul 12, 2013 -- Long time supporter of and participant in The Village P.r.o.j.e.c.t.s and its vast networks, Elcedo Bradley RN, BSN, MSN, PhD(C) was recently elected as the Supreme Basileus (National president), Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. Chi Eta Phi Sorority Inc is one of the nation's leading professional nursing organizations with a history dating back to 1932.
"There are over 8,000 registered nurses and nursing students in graduate and undergraduate (Beta) chapters grouped into five regions according to geographic areas. The chapters are located throughout the United States, District of Columbia, St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Island and Liberia West Africa." (ChiEtaPhi.com)
Prior to her election as the Supreme Basileus, Elcedo served most recently as the First Supreme Anti-Basileus (First vice-president), and earlier in the role of National Organizer, and as an officer at the local, regional, and national levels of this great organization. Her outreach to the community is commendable as she works as a part of numerous organizations including The Village P.r.o.j.e.c.t.s.
Elcedo has been an active Village P.r.o.j.e.c.t.s supporter and was a member of the initial organizing group hosted at California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2003. She consistently demonstrated a belief in the need for each of us to continue to make a difference in our various communities by using our talents and our connections to move each other forward. She has established programs, and worked closely with college students, many of whom are the first in their families to attend college. She has worked with nursing assistant students not only teaching them, but providing them with role models and mentors to inspire and to support them. She has served as a mentor to many of us in The Village P.r.o.j.e.c.t.s and has unselfishly shared her leadership journey. Elcedo represents the essence of who we are in The Village P.r.o.j.e.c.t.s and her success is our success as we all move forward together. I encourage all of us both individually and as the collective Village P.r.o.j.e.c.t.s to stand by her as she enters yet another stage of leadership. Congratulations to Elcedo Bradley RN, BSN, MSN, PhD(c) from your colleagues at The Village P.r.o.j.e.c.t.s
“Our solutions are bigger than any one profession or job. We must reclaim our interconnections and learn to freely share information with each other, and to support the success of a new generation. We must create connections and collaborations. Our goal must be to move this system in the direction of caring what happens to persons who need it the most, and we must take our place in that effort. We will find a way to make a difference!"
